Wasn't it I always liked the Chuckwagon dog food commercial where the tiny covered wagon comes shooting out of the bag and wheels around the kitchen, bringing gravy-soaked goodness to your dog.
Hey, someone refresh my memory about the Snicker's commercial, will ya? I can remember the punchline vividly, but I can't remember what led up to it! This page says "leaner" and here's another vote for "leaner" BUT this page says "meatier" The world may never know I'd forgotten that one! Ask Mr. Also: E3! You sank my battleship! It was leaner. The whole point was that it was a healthy option to bacon.

Comes from a series of TV commercials for Malt-O-Meal hot cereal that aired during the early s and featured a little boy and his imaginary friend Maynard. The other kids in the "Mikey" commercial were Gilchrist's brothers and are also still alive. See the link for quotes from the TV show. There's no truth in it. John Gilchrest aka. Mikey is alive and well. Furthermore, that combination of carbonation and corn syrup could give you a hell of a bellyache and probably make you puke.
I suppose if you were able to consume enough carbonated beverages and Pop Rocks before blowing your chips, you might have to get your stomach pumped, but it wouldn't kill you. As for "Good Stuff, Maynard," I am unfamiliar.
